We are looking for volunteers on September 19th and 20th to help at our Annual Scholarship Golf Outing in the following areas:
Prep the night before
Morning set up
End of day clean up
Golf, win prizes, make a difference
The proceeds from the golf outing are sent to the NAWIC Founders' Scholarship Foundation. The funds that NAWIC Detroit deposits are directed toward Michigan applicants when applicable.
NAWIC’s Detroit Chapter is consistently one of the top contributors to the scholarship fund.

"The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) was established in 1963 by NAWIC to assist in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education. Construction is the only industry that encompasses almost every professional discipline. Literally every career sector is available: trades, project management, administrative, legal, financial, insurance, business owner…the list is virtually endless. Once someone decides on a career in construction, they then have to find ways to pay for their education. The NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) is here to help. Each year we are pleased to award over $25,000 to worthy recipients in construction-related programs. The Detroit Chapter has raised over $13,500 of that amount. Award amounts range from $500 to $2,500."
